I had a WebFOCUS position open I thought some of you would be interested in, and so I have put the job description below for you to take a look at.

Work within a team and document customer requirements, translate into technical designs, and analyze requirements and business rules. Develop, test and implement efficient, cost effective analytic solutions. Responsible for the design, modify / develop , coding, testing, debugging and documentation of Reporting / analytics applications. Provide support and maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations. Work closely with onsite and offshore teams.
Strong interpersonal skills, as well as strong written and **** communications skills and demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Develop reporting objects / WebFocus based Fex code / JSP / HTML Pages, SQL Queries for reporting and analytic requirements. Excellent programming techniques to design, develop, implement and troubleshooting programming changes and modifications.

Will receive general direction from the Manager / Team Lead; work closely with onsite / offshore team members to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes and to co-ordinate activities with other IT Teams such as Database architects, DBAs, change / software configuration management teams.

Requires following:
Developing Reporting Application with WebFocus V 7.6 / V8 and JSP, Unix is a must.
8+ Years’ experience in working with WebFocus suite of tools
Demonstrated Experience in WebFOCUS 7.6+ / 8.X master file /meta data development, dashboards, guided-Adhoc, report caster, InfoAssist, managed reporting
Strong hands on experience in HTML/ HTML5 , JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets for creating and interfacing WebFocus reports in a self-service environment.
Data Visualization expertise; selecting the right visual representation based on the data.
In-depth Experience in setting up of WebFOCUS 7.6+ / 8 environment
Experience with Unix / Linux and Java is a must
Experience developing applications with WebFocus on Teradata
Experience in migration of reports from WebFOCUS 7.6.0.x to WebFOCUS 8 is desirable
Experience developing application in Web focus with Appstudio and Portal is desirable
