Position Description
Operations Analyst provides analytical data and makes recommendations to support the overall strategic goals.
. Reports trends with analysis and makes decision support recommendations for management
. Responsible for developing, testing, and implementing reporting applications that satisfy business requirements and meet performance expectations.
. Assists in planning and posts mortem analytical reviews of projects and business processes
. Acts as lead analyst and supports other analysts on team
. Generate production support documentation

Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering
. Three to five years of strong analytical experience and extensive knowledge of SQL, Statistical/OR techniques and have the ability to apply the same for business requirements
. Experience in Information Builder product lines (WebFocus, Managed Reporting, Business Intelligence Dashboard, Developer Studio, InfoAssist).
. Experience using FOCUS language including metadata, reports and dashboards
. Experience using MRE (Managed Reporting Environment)
. Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects
. Experience in quantitative sales, expense and profit analysis
. Knowledge of SAS or other related software a plus
. Experience coding complex HTML pages using JavaScript validation
. Experience developing reports using Dev Studio (directly in the FOCUS code)
. Experience using Report Caster to schedule reports for delivery
. Experience using FOCUS language
. Basic Web Experience: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS
. Server Experience and comfortable working from a command line prompt (UNIX)
. Web Development Languages desired: Perl, JSP, etc.
. Strong knowledge of MS Office
