Job overview

We are seeking an IBI/Webfocus Developer who has a prior applications development background with development of Reports for large scale application. This individual will also play a role in working closely with business and IT stakeholders and other departmental areas for multiple projects and deliverables. They will also possess the ability to work in agile development environment with collaboration and multiple teams / applications dependencies

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Perform IBI/WebFocus SW development and design activities

*Play the role of senior developer Interact with stakeholders for requirement

*Ability to work on development modules independently

*Review functional requirements

*Design technical specifications and document them as needed

*Participating technical reviews and walkthroughs

*Develop according to Amdocs standards to ensure that all milestone deliverables meet with defined standards. Deliverables include requirement definitions, functional specification, architecture design, technical specifications, release notes, installation guides, solution summary, and other documentation.

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in working with WebFocus suite of tools, handling large data reports with focus on performance

Demonstrated experience in master file /meta data development, dashboards, guided-Adhoc, managed reporting

5+ yrs hands on experience in HTML/ HTML5 , JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets for creating and interfacing WebFocus reports

3-5+ yrs Experience with Oracle/SQL/ Unix / Linux and Java is a must

5+ years of expert-level understanding of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle

JSF/Primeface, WebLogic, WebService, Oracle (4-5yrs) Strong SQL experience

Preferences

3+ years of Telecom/Cable experience,

1-2+ years of Agile/scrum experience

Experience developing applications with WebFocus on Teradata

Good DWH and BI concepts

Must demonstrate ability to manage multiple, concurrent initiatives

Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent
