Job Description
The Business Intelligence and Data Manager is responsible for driving strategy and development of data intelligence through the design, development, and continuous improvement of actionable metrics, dashboards, and trend analysis including thought leadership on business intelligence tools through data collection and mining. In this role, you are responsible for managing and building the Business Intelligence and Data Managements teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

You will provide direct leadership of the Business Intelligence and Data Management teams that will include a combination of direct reports, functional reports, and cross-functional indirect reports thought out the organization.
You will provide analysis including thought leadership on business intelligence and analytics tools through data collection and mining.
You will create, test, and distribute business intelligence solutions.
You will need to stay abreast on developing trends for data and analytics through visualization
You will act as the subject matter expert in the implementation of new approaches while identifying the optimal blend of measurement and analytic techniques.
You will identify and drive process improvement for business intelligence by leveraging the organization ERP, HCM, CRM, IT solutions/projects and cross-functional projects.
You will streamline processes and create efficiencies in the way various departments and teams within the organization use applications, technology, and practices to collect, analyze and present data across the business.
You will partner with business stakeholders to evaluate business questions, design and implement analytical solutions that provide actionable insights on sales leading indicators, marketing efficiencies, operations performance, financial and supply chain performance.
Proactively seek opportunities to improve data quality.
You will create and maintain analytical reports that can be accessed quickly and consistently to monitor business performance, key metrics, and programs.
You will prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
You will format data to identify needs, provide relevant insights, and make recommendations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field
7+ year working in analytics and information technology with a proven track record of delivering insights and business impact
Prior management experience required
Prior experience in project management (Agile preferred)
Expertise using data analysis and visualization tools like Domo, Tableau, Power BI and/or WebFocus preferred
Experience in reading and writing SQL or other database functions and understanding relational and No SQL databases
Proficient in SQL, knowledge/interest in R, Python or statistical modeling
Prior expertise with ERP, CRM and HCM technologies and data from different systems
Solid understanding of data structures and transformation
Proven experience with advance analytics such as predictive and prescriptive modeling
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent communication and storytelling skills; experience in communicating with senior management in open, direct and professional manner
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Willing to work as an agent of change, driving, and enabling process changes to raise performance standards and drive improvement
