Business Intelligence (BI) Metadata Specialist/WebFOCUS Support

Reporting to the Manager, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence, your main challenges will include:
• Working in a team to create the WebFOCUS metadata that will be used by BI developers and users
• creating BI reports
• training users and supporting them on the BI WebFOCUS user tools (Power Painter/Info Assist)
• Communicating with stakeholders, users and technical teams.

The ideal candidate will possess the following :
• DEC in Computer Science
• Minimum 5 years experience in development and analysis
• Proficient in MS Office
• Fluently bilingual (French and English)
• Ability to travel within Canada & USA
• Team player
• Familiar with:
o SQL query language
o MSSQL database environments
o Data Warehouse
o BI concepts and reporting tools
• Solid time management and organizational skills
• Proactive, displaying an enthusiasm for training and helping users
• Business oriented with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Experience in a retail Head Office environment is an asset

Business Intelligence WebFOCUS Programmer/Analyst

Reporting to the Manager, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence, you will design develop, deliver and support high-quality, user focused Business Intelligence solutions that assist our end-users and analyze information.

Your main challenges will include:
• Defining detailed Business Intelligence requirements for reporting
• Ensuring that Business Intelligence solutions support business processes
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements
• Assist in the creation and review of project deliverables
• Train specific users on the use of Business Intelligence reports and tools
• Communicate with stakeholders, users and technical teams
• Create, modify, integrate, test and deliver Business Intelligence reports, manuals and documentation
• Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• DEC in Computer Science
• Minimum 5 years experience in development and analysis
• Proficient in MS Office
• Fluently bilingual (French and English)
• Ability to travel within Canada & USA
• Team player with a willingness to work with a diverse team
• Familiar with:
o SQL query language
o MSSQL database environments
o Data Warehouse
o Business Intelligence concepts and reporting tools
o .Net is an asset
