Overview

• Commercial Global Reporting team provides reporting capability to our external stakeholders
• The Business Intelligence tool uses WebFOCUS technology and it provides data insight and analytical features that helps customers to make smart business decisions
• The purpose of this job is to develop reports using WebFOCUS technology

Role

• Individual Contributor
• In addition to the Standard Job Description, the individual must have the following additional skill sets
• Participate in technical and design review sessions and provide feedback
• Develop reports, dashboard and ad-hoc solutions based on technical design
• Conduct code walk and incorporate feedback
• Provide support during System and User Acceptance Testing
• Prepare implementation plan and support during and after implementation

All About You

• In-depth understanding of Business Intelligence solutions for customers
• Exposure and understanding of Agile methodology
• Solid analytical skills and ability to examine requirements, re-engineer existing processes, envision new concepts and deliver complete reporting solutions
• Proficient in GUI design skills
• Working knowledge of Exadata/Oracle/Netezza/SQL server databases
• Design WebFOCUS reporting solutions from user requirements gathered from the client
• Design, modify, or recommend database changes to facilitate the WebFOCUS reporting application
• In-depth knowledge of developing reports using the FOCUS language and ability to debug code in FOCUS language
• In-depth working knowledge of WebFOCUS 8.xx, Masterfile/meta data development, managed reporting, BI dashboard, InfoAssist, Report Caster, HTML5, JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for creating and interfacing WebFOCUS reports in a self-service environment
