Looking for an experienced WebFOCUS consultant to help implement a production customer reporting portal and internal business intelligence system.

Tasks include requirements analysis, specification and development of reports.
Define requirements (specifications, prototypes or mock-ups), create a schedule with targets, deliver the implementation, drive the overall plan.

Will report to VP of MIS.

Specifics:

* Build upon an initial WebFOCUS implementation framework with prototype reports.
* Understand our Oracle database and data warehouse schemas and exiting SQL reports.
* Implement production self-service portal for external users.
* Interact with internal users to define reports to provide useful information and real business intelligence; implement integration of data across multiple silos; use structured ad-hoc, visualization, charting, Visual Discovery and other WebFOCUS tools.
* Utilize best-practices for modular coding, scaling, security, user interface, performance, documentation.
* Develop dashboards.

Though the primary deliverables are WebFocus reporting, expertise in these areas would also be useful:

* WebFOCUS installation and configuration (on Linux).
* WebFOCUS client/server components and Tomcat/Java.
* SQL (Oracle and MySQL).
* Salesforce.com: data structures, reporting, integration, workflow.

This is initially a contract role, however depending on business needs and individual capabilities it could transition to full-time later this year.
