Chrome River Technologies is looking for a new WebFocus Software Engineer. www.chromeriver.com

Join our Engineering team as a Software Engineer for our online expense reporting and invoice management service. As part of the Engineering team, you will be focusing on mastering product knowledge of Chrome River's reporting and analytics application. This role will be responsible for building and supporting reports, dashboards, inquiry screens, and the related information distribution infrastructure.

You will need to have a strong background in database technology and a strong understanding of our reporting platform, Information Builders. You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with our development, product management, and QA teams. In addition, you can expect to work directly with our customers to understand requirements for building custom reports.

This position is local to Los Angeles, however we will also accept telecommuters from the US. You will experience a small amount of travel for initial training in Los Angeles and can expect to visit the office a couple times a year.

Key Responsibilities:
•Developing reports using the WebFocus language
•Using Information Builders tools to develop dashboard components in Adobe Flex
•Supporting Information Builders tools for report distribution
•Providing production support on the reporting environment
•Working with product management to develop creative, sales-oriented analytic solutions
•Working with customers to support our Analytics tools.
•Software development experience

Required Background and Skills:
•3+ years experience in reporting and business analytics using WebFocus 7 or higher
•Worked with web applications
•Strong SQL experience
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:
•Experience in reporting and business analytics using WebFocus 8.0 or 8.1, infoDiscovery, WebFocus App Studio, WebFocus Developer Studio
•Knowledge of enterprise-level financial applications
