Sr. BI Developer Analysts elicit requirements as well as create and/or analyze report specifications and design, architect, and implement complex and visually compelling reporting and business intelligence solutions to support requirements. They have broad experience designing and implementing complex, large, and advanced reporting solutions in support of enterprise-wide reporting. Sr. BI Developer Analysts interface with various functional teams (application analysts, business intelligence, information technology, web developers, database/data analysts) as required to support the BI solution delivery. They proactively identify needs and/or issues, develop strategies, and propose/implement technical and process solutions. Sr BI Developer Analysts lead large, complex or specialized projects and are the subject matter experts for the most complex reporting solutions with responsibility for mentoring and training all levels of BI designers as well as customers. They possess specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in BI reporting design activities. They may be recognized as an expert within the organization. They work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. They use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve highly complex issues in creative and effective ways and perform analysis of situations or data that requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. They interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices. They adapt precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches. Under the general direction of a manager or supervisor, Sr BI Developer Analysts may act in a team lead capacity for projects.

Must be familiar with SQL and Data Warehousing concepts.

Must have experience with WebFocus/InformationBuilders

Knowledge/work experience with other BI tools a plus (OBIEE, TABLEAU, COGNOS)
