We currently have a position open for a Reporting Analyst. We are seeking a candidate with 1 - 3 years of WebFOCUS experience in a development and systems analysis role (preferably developing web-based reporting or other database driven software/applications) to support initiatives geared towards the development and enhancement of our reporting and analysis tools (reports, dashboards, alerts).

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining reports and related applications for reporting and analyzing performance of marketing campaigns and operational processes
  • Performing system and data analysis to support enhancements (front-end as well as back-end database structures) to reports and reporting applications
  • Performing system and unit testing to ensure and maintain data integrity and quality control of developed reports and reporting applications
  • Assisting with gathering and documenting requirements, and assessing reporting needs of various departments to determine the most efficient means to deliver against the requests in a timely manner
  • Assisting with creating and conducting sessions designed to educate and train end-users on the developed reports and applications
  • Proactively recommending ongoing enhancements to existing systems


Our ideal candidate has:

  • A college degree, preferably in Information Management or Computer Science
  • Experience designing and developing reports with a business intelligence product (experience with WebFocus Developer Studio or similar online report development software a big plus)
  • Ability to interpret and document business requirements
  • Sound knowledge of SQL and data extraction methodologies
  • Knowledge of basic data warehousing concepts
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with relational databases (such as MS Access, SQL Server) and query tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools including Access, Visio and Project
  • Understanding of common web development languages and technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, XML a huge plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
