Why would anyone want to work for someone with such poor grammatical and typing skills? And what's with wanting to know the day and month (only) of an applicant's birthday? Are they planning to read his/her horoscope or something?

I responded with my rate of $75 an hour C2C, what I have been billing and getting all year.

These guys have no idea what we do and what a niche market it is.

I guess they are use to recruiting 'dime a dozen' web developers or something.

Plus they need 3 people willing to spend the winter in Chicago.

They use this to prove to the client that they actually spoke to you and they are not blind submitting your resume they found online.

I've only ever done Webfocus in Chicago (not as a contractor). What's wrong with the winters? They are much better than the Syracuse, NY winters I grew up with. Now the pay scale ...
