[SOLVED] DMC Hyperstage Synonym - What is DV_TEMPLATE?
Using DMC I let it create a new Synonym for a hyperstage table definition. Within the ACX file it generated there are lines that start with DV_TEMPLATE. Anyone have any idea what these do as there does not appear to be any documentation for this parameter.

example:
DV_TEMPLATE=DATE_CREATED_Y_YQMD,
BASE=DATE_CREATED,
DV_CAPTION='Created Date,Compound',
COMPONENTS=DATE_CREATED_YEAR_Y/DATE_CREATED_YEAR_Q/DATE_CREATED_YEAR_M/DATE_CREATED_YEAR_D, $

I have since added new fields to the hyperstage table defn and am wondering if I need to create these lines for those new data fields in the ACX.

DMC 81M (Gen 858)
Thanks

I'm not 100% comfortable with it, but it has to do with the business view the report writers will see.

So I guess that yes, if you want the new columns to be accessible to the reporting tools, then you will have to address this.
