TomGQuestion on the edaenv.cfg file.
Hi,
Can the edaenv.cfg file be used to store custom property values to allow for me to set-up an environment variable or is it used to only store operating
system variables? Thinking it could be used to store custom variables, I set up a custom variable in the edaenv.cfg file and tried accessing it using
the FGETENV command but that did not work.
What I am trying to do is access a variable that holds a value to indicate what run-time environment a data flow or stored procedure is running in. Is
there a command or other means for me to obtain this kind of information? Is there another configuration file that can be accessed to get this information
from?
Thank you in advance.
