This issue has been solved by me. Short answer: they work as you might expect, but beware of low memory when processing large numbers of records.

According to our technicals, this issue should be addressed by a case with Customer Support Services. To open a case, you can either call at 1-800-736-6130, or access online at InfoResponse.
