Our Oracle database adaptor points to a specific schema.
How can I force the new target object to be created in another schema within the data Migrator Data Flow?

If I add a schema name "dot" table name to the table name field in the new object window, it
doesn't work.

"It doesn't work" is not very helpful to anyone seeking to assist you. Since as they say on hotline, "it works for me."
At least if I provide a valid full table name. However if I try to create scott.whatever I get:

  (FOC1400) SQLCODE IS 1031 (HEX: 00000407)
  (FOC1413) USER HAS INSUFFICIENT AUTHORITY FOR REQUESTED OPERATION
    : ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

Or for endre.whaterver I get:

 
  (FOC1400) SQLCODE IS 1918 (HEX: 0000077E)
    : ORA-01918: user 'endre' does not exist 

Both I think are self-explanatory.
