Hi,
Does anyone have had experience using iWay Program Adapter?
I need to invoke C++ / Java old Transaction Applications / systems as Web Services / JCA Call.
I thought of using iWay Program Adapter but unforutnately didn't find much documentation on it apart from the iWay Server CALLPGM are.
Please, correct me if my approach is wrong:

Web Service--iBSE---iAE---Stored Procedure (RDBMS Adapter)---(EDA Server, JDBC Connection)---FEX Program (CALLPGM, iWay Server)

Is the above approach a sane one?
Or is there any other approach?

Thanks & Regards,
Sandy

Hi Sandy,

Heard from internal expert: the approach appears to be reasonable, assuming that the old code can be wrapped and called from within a FEX. The FEX could be explored by the iAE and web service created from the target that represents the FEX on that server.

Hope this helps. Big Grin

Cheers,

Kerry
