Hi All,

I heard that you have configure report caster to pick up reports from and AS400 for distribution. Do these reports have to reside in the IFS as text or stream files?

Is it possible to convert the report to PDF during distribution through Report Caster?

Thanks for any info!

If you are talking about scheduling a procedure (.fex), you can specify the format for report distribution in ReportCaster. If you are talking about an already outputted format, ReportCaster can distribute that file. A text file would be a file type STMF in a directory, so the answer is that it must reside in the IFS as a stream file. A .fex will have a .fex in the file name and a type of STMF.
