Getting a value from an instantiated java class being called from a stored procedure.

Hi,

Does anyone know of a way I can get a value from an instantiated java class that is being called
from a stored procedure? I have tried loading a value within the java class into the arguments list
and am unable to access that value from the calling stored procedure.

Also, in this same theme... can I access a method from an instantiated class from a stored
procedure? Ideally this is what I would like to do - to get the value from the class'
getter method.

Listed below is the call to the java class. Parm4 from the below call statement is the variable
being loaded with the value I want to reference in the calling stored procedure and I am not sure
how to get at this value.

DOS JAVA packagename.ClassName parm1 parm2 parm3 parm4

Thank you in advance.

Hi all,

FYI, Tom has a case opened regarding this issue, which is now being researched.

Tom, when you have an update/solution from the case, can you please kindly post here? Thank you in advance for sharing with all.

Cheers,

Kerry
