I am looking for a document (tutorial) on dimension modeling using WebFOCUS/DataMigrator tools. I find tutorials online but they refer to other tools. Can anyone point me to the right direction? Thank you.

Hi WFConsultant,

I checked with our Data Migrator people and here is the feedback: we do not document Data Modeling. Data Modeling is not a IBI specific feature. We also don’t really document using the Data Modeling tool in our product because it is basically assumed if you are using it, you already understand the concepts and there isn’t much for us to add. The tool is the easy part, basically.

If you are using the tool and have some specific questions, we may be able to help.

He would also recommend the following for training:
* TDWI Data Warehousing Concepts and Principles
* TDWI Data Modeling
* TDWI Advanced Data Modeling Techniques
And more! View the brochure.

Cheers,

Kerry
