HI

i installed the new iWay8, before that i installed the recommended JAVA runtime 1.8 build 152.

when i try to start iway service it starts and stops immediately and the error it shows is "Unable to locate a JAVA virtual machine. Please check your environment."

note: as a recommendation in my workplace all installations are done on the D drive rather than on the C drive.

so my java is located on

D:\Java\JRE8
iway on
D:\iway\iway8

and i have set the JRE_HOME and included that in path.
not sure whats going wrong where

hi satish,

iSM couldnt find the JVM location that is why you are seeing the error. try adding the client location to the path and see.

1. C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.8.0_45\jre\bin\client;
or
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_141\jre\bin\server\;

2. C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_141\bin
