I have created a business view for a user with a filter which select a subset for the accounts based on the accountnumber. However, the accountnummer is a private field and the user has no rights to view that field (FOC 32447). But the user has no wishes to view the account number, I only need the accountnumber in the filter.

How can I solve this?

FOC32447 is a warning message and doesn't prevent access. I am not sure what a 'private field' is and how you are preventing the user from using it. Is it a rule in the actual database? What is the field name in the master file?

I have entered the field in the DBA-pane as access-limited read. It is correct that this particular user may not view the field. But I need the field to filter the correct records, and that seems to be not possible. I have tried to use the limited field as a define, but that also doesnot work.
