SQL SQLMSS

DECLARE @StartDate DATE
, @EndDate DATE

SELECT @StartDate = MIN(BEGIN_DT), @EndDate = MAX(END_DT)
FROM DEPT_TABLE
WHERE BEGIN_DT >= '01/01/1970'

WHILE (@StartDate <= @EndDate)
BEGIN
INSERT INTO DEV.dbo.DATE_CTE_STG1(DEV.dbo.DATE_CTE_STG1.DateValue) VALUES (@StartDate);
SET @StartDate = DATEADD(d,1,@StartDate);
END

Hi Madhumitha,

This is a friendly follow-up. The Focal Point Support group has requested that a case be opened for your question.

Can you also be more specific when you say " the code is not working". Do you get an error message? Where is the code be run? Also if you can add the Report server version when you open the case.

The more details you provide will help with getting to quicker solution.

As always please post the resolution so that others can be helped in the future.
