Hi All,

I have a pflow in which I am calling a oracle stored procedure with a constant input xml.

Constant input XML

 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<AdapterParams location="RDBMS/Schemas/APPS/Procedures/Packages/ORA_PKG/ORA_PRC">
  <P_REQUEST_ID>2</P_REQUEST_ID>
</AdapterParams>

this is the parameter value 2
 <P_REQUEST_ID>2</P_REQUEST_ID>

Now I do want to pass a parameter for passing dynamic value like
 <P_REQUEST_ID> PARAMETER </P_REQUEST_ID>

Please share your thoughts with me.

Thanks,
Mary Gerald...

Hi Mary,

The following has been received from the IBI support team.

Repsonse:
The parameter 2 is not fixed. You can change the 2 to another value. You can do this in a pflow using transforms or ifl before passing the request to the adapter. The assumption is the oracle procedure will accept other values.

Let us know if that answers your question.

Thank you for participating in the Focal Point Forum.

Hi Tamra,

Thanks for the reply. I need a variable which gets increased every time when the PFLow is referred like a counting variable to track the session of the PFLOW.

Now I opened a case with Tech Support for this issue.

Thanks,
Mary Gerald...

Hi Friends,

Any suggestions for me for this issue?.
Currently I am using _unq() function. But it is keep incrementing the values for each and every objects in the same flow. I am not able to get the same value throughout the flow.

Please share your suggestions.

Could you explain your following statement?

But it is keep incrementing the values for each and every objects in the same flow. I am not able to get the same value throughout the flow.

Are you using _unq on every single object in your pflow?

Ideally, you should define an SREG whose vlaue should be set to _unq and reference the sreg across the entire pflow.
