Hello,

I'm Having problems trying to read a BLOB field using the SQL agent, I'm not receiving an error in the SQLAgent execution, but the response document is not well formed, the BLOB tag name is empty. like "".

I know that the oracle Adapter works good with BLOB data types (I already tested it), but I would really like to use the SQL Object because of many reasons.

Thanks a lot for your support.

Note: I'm working with ISM (6.0.1 - patch.65084)

Best Regards.

Hi Sergio,

I passed this one to our iWay technicals, and here is the suggestion: There are fundamental differences between the SQL Object and the RDBMS Agent. The SQL object relies on pure JDBC to communicate with the Database while the RDBMS Adapter is also leveraging the native API.

However, in this case, the problem might be related to the data itself.

It is strongly suggested that you should open a case with Customer Support Services to provide more details about the table structure and some debug tracing. You may either call at 1-800-736-6130, or access online at InfoResponse.

Cheers,

Kerry

Hi Kerry,

Thanks for your answer, because of the project deadline I've solved that using the adapter but I'll open the case in Customer Support Services.

If its a SQL object problem, it should help to the main development team to increase our product quality.

Best Regards.
Sergio.
