If it's coming up in the Today page there should be a spinner on it that runs as long as it takes to fire off the request, depending on what PMF version you are running, which I can't tell from your signature.

Bob, I'm using PMF 8. When I change the Today page to this custom report I don't see any spinner on the page. It takes approximately 10 seconds (by my counting) to display the report. Thanks.

I may have found the area to research. Any Today page that is a report has no spinner. The Today pages that are dashboards have spinners. I'll explore this further.
