Hi

I am currently running WebFOCUS 7.6.9 and when I install PMF 5.1.2 the pmf users gets created in the worp_user folder but is blank.

The moment I want to run PMF I get a http 500 error.

In the application server log we get fatal error :-1:-1: Premature end of file.
ibi.worp.util.WARP_RuntimeExeption: can not open file:c:\ibi\webfocus76/warp/warp_user\pmf_adm_gbv\layout.xml

Please assist.

Kind Regards
Wihan

This seems like a specific issue and not a general problem - PMF has been successfully installed on 7.6.9 on multiple platforms and at multiple sites, so we would need more specifics. Generally in these kinds of situations it's best to open a support case with Customer Support and not to use the forums.

On the forums the most useful stuff is the "how do I do this?" and/or general solutions to technical or methodology questions. Specific customer support stuff is most quickly resolved if you go through standard support. Obviously you're not wanting to wait until another user helps you with something like this.

thanks!

Hi,

I am sorry not to supply any help for this issue but i have a question.

Is PMF coming free with 7.6.9 or does it require a licence.

Regards.

Hi,

We have found the problem, it was because when we downloaded PMF 5.1.2 the setup.jar file didnt download completely so we copied it again and reinstalled PMF and it worked fine.

Thank you,

Kind Regards,
Wihan

Majid--
Responding to your question, yes, PMF is licensed software.

You can contact your IB rep to obtain licensing and pricing.

thanks
