[Closed] - HTML5 - Metric Perf. Gauge Pct of Target on Drill
When I right click on this graph to view the detail the percent of target seems backwards.
I have the direction for the metric set as descending - lower is better. January of 2016 is over the target value so the dot is red which is correct but I would expect the % value to be 150.94 % not 49.1%. I understand how the value is calculated I just don't think it is intuitive to a normal user.

As you correctly observe, descending Metrics can be a little counter intuitive the first time you see them. The % value is a measure of how close you are to reaching your Target. If you have not reached your Target, then you are always less than 100%.

In our experience, once users understand the distinction they have no trouble adjusting. It just requires a bit of educating Smiler
