I did a test upgrade of PMF 2.6a to PMF 5.1.2.
I followed the manual instructions closely but came up errors when I tried to sync PMF.

Here is the error message

An error occurred during processing:
Error S02_B1 in pmf_resynch - Error S04 in pmf_dim_convert_view - Error S03_C in pmf_dim_tbl_refresh,
FOCERRNUM: 419 , NUM_DIM_VALUES_TO_INCLUDE: 1, INPUT: 0
Please contact your PMF Administrator

How can I fix this error?

Also here is the path I followed when installing the scripts

1. 31_26_sqlmss_migrate.sql
2. 41_31_sqlmss_migrate.sql
3. 42_41_sqlmss_migrate.sql
4. 50_42_sqlmss_migrate.sql - Manual says to use 502_42_sqlmss_migrate.sql but it is not found used 50_42_sqlmss_migrate.sql instead.
5. 501_50_sqlmss_migrate.sql
6. 502_501_sqlmss_migrate.sql
7. 503_502_sqlmss_migrate.sql
8. 504_503_sqlmss_migrate.sql
9. 510_504_sqlmss_migrate.sql
10. 511_50_sqlmss_migrate.sql
11. 511_510_sqlmss_migrate.sql
12. 512_511_sqlmss_migrate.sql

These two scripts were not used
X 421_42_sqlmss_migrate.sql
X 50_452a_sqlmss_migrate.sql

Did I mess up when installing the scripts?
Do I have to sync after running each script or sync after I have ran all of the scripts?
What is the proper sequence of scripts when going from 2.6a to 5.1.2?

Thanks

Wow! 2.6a - that's an "oldie but goodie". Razzer

Please try this. Go back to your original 2.6a database and do your steps 1 through 4. This will get you up to 5.0. Then open up your PMF application using the admin ID. You should see a message that tells you that the Database is at a different release than the code - and there will be a resynch button. CLick the resynch button.

If you still get errors, call IBI support and open up a support case.

Thanks for the info.
I will follow your instructions and let you know the results.

Also, from looking at the PMF 2.6a dashboard some of the reports, dimensions, and measures are broken.
Someone has moved some of the database tables.

Can this be a problem?

I went to the Load page tab to where you create Dimensions.
When I pulled sample data for one of the dimensions already created I got an error.
Turns out that the table where the dimension pulls data from is missing.

The database PMF_Datamart appears to be okay.
