Is there a way to limit which dimensional value (e.g. a product from the list of products) can be seen by an owner on a scorecard?
I understand I can limit view based on Dimension Level, but not sure if I can filter the scorecard view within the same Dimension Level,
thnx Endre

what we recommend is designing the dimension hierarchy around the responsibilities of the owners/users. this way each hierarchy reflects the security innately. so if a particular user is supposed to see a particular list of products, you'd have a higher level grouping of those products reflecting the user's area of responsibilty. when you think about it this way, desiging security in when designing dimensions, it makes sense, because in a performance culture you're thinking about dimensions less as OLAP thingies and more as being the answers to questions about responsibilty.

if you say, yea, well, we just want to keep our dimension design as is and not add a hierarchy level that gives you better control over on what particular users need to see, you can create custom filtering using WHERE statements and implement this in filters.fex. Noting that you can do anything you want in a WebFOCUS app, if you wanted to limit a list to a subset of level values within a point in the hierarchy, without regard to the hierarchy itself being a way to control this, you can do anything you want.
