Hi,

Is there a way we can configure Alert such that when feedback changes, an alert goes to user?

Thanks
Abhinav

If we have this right, you're looking for a way to automatically alert users when Feedback is added.

Since the way this might work is varied (and since it's not been requested to date) we haven't built a specific component in PMF to automate this.

However, you can set up alerts quite easily in WebFOCUS, against the Feedback table in PMF, testing for Feedback entered on or after a particular date (which can be a rolling date for testing), scheduled to run on a regular basis, and taking into account date windows.

Feedback is included in the standard pmf_booklet_data view. So you can filter the feedback in the alert test and the fired off report on:

  • a particular user ID
  • one or more linked metrics
  • one or more related objectives
  • any particular point in time or time ranges.

For more information on how to write reports, see the PMF Developer Guide.

thanks
