Apache Tomcat issues?

I have a test installation of WebFOCUS 7.6.8 and want to add PMF 5.1 to it.

My WebFOCUS environment is setup using Apache Tomcat Standalone.
So, Tomcat is the web and application server.

Are there any issues with this setup?

The installation manual does not discuss Tomcat at all.

Is there a more detailed installation pdf available that has different environment details?

I am currently going through DN4500848.1208

Also how can I tell what version of PMF I currently have installed?

Production PMF is setup with WebFOCUS 7.13.

I've been looking through the ibi folders for configuration and setup files but have not found one that lists the version of PMF.
Everything refers to 713PMF or 71PMF. Which are not versions of PMF.

I am sure this will be important when I need to migrate the PMF datamarts.

Thanks

Tomcat standalone is the environment we always run and test in, so we know it's good. I mean, we know all the ones we say are good... we just really, really, know about Tomcat.

If you go to Manage tab (or Administration tab if you're running V4 or earlier) There's a button About WebFOCUS PMF. Click that for version info. Yes, this is in the doc, but sometimes things are hard to find in the doc.

You have to be logged on as a user that has Administrator role to get that tab by the way. Perhaps you can't find the option because your role isn't administrator; in that case talk to the person who is the administrator.

thanks

Thanks for the info.

Is there an installation manual that specifically mentions Apache Tomcat Standalone?

The manual doesn't cover specifics of each possible Web server. PMF is designed to work on all Web servers for which IB has announced support.
