How can I change the default view from analysis designer to Measures - Rolling 5 periods in the analytics tab. I also want to start with the Measures - Rolling 5 periods view when I click on the analytics tab.

Kind Regards,
Bert Utrecht

Hi Bert
The categories in the analytics tab are sorted alphabetically. The app for the tab is configured to auto-load the strategy map.

There is no built-in feature to cause the app to load a different process at startup. You can of course customize the tab as you see fit using standard WebFOCUS tools and editors. The tab launcher runs mainstreet/analysis_navbar.htm from the Web server.

As documented, unlike procedures and other components, any customizations to the HTML launcher (or HTML pages in general) would be overwritten on an upgrade, so remember keep them backed up in case of upgrade.

thanks

That said if what you're saying is you want a feature where you can set up a default report to be auto-run on the analytics tab, we've found that SEs want this and probably some time in 2010 we'll do this as a feature. But it won't show up in 5.2.2 at the end of this month nor is it in 5.2.1 so if you want it now, you can do it with a simple customization.

The point we were trying to make (and might not have made very well) is that you can do things whether they are "features" or not, because this is WebFOCUS. :-)

Hi Bob,

Thanks for your answer. This would be a nice new feature for a future release in 2010.

Kind Regards,

Bert Utrecht
