default scorecard to a specific dashboard
We have a few scorecards that users can choose from in the dropdown list. We want to default them to different dashboards. In other words, when someone chooses Scorecard A, it should automatically change to Dashboard A. But when they choose Scorecard B, that one should automatically change to Dashboard B. How can we do this?

We are using PMF 5.2.3 hotfix 4.

Thanks,
Theresa

I'm determining here if what's there today will already satisfy you.

Dashboards in PMF are designed to work across scorecards. In other words when you change the scorecard from the dropdown, the dashboard you're looking at automatically re-runs showing the same GADGETS, but with settings and defaults within each gadget set to be appropriate for the scorecard you chose.

Are you desiring to show different data within the dashboard, which is what happens now, or actually different physical gadgets, and if so can we get an idea what you've got on those different dashboards?

We want to show different gadgets. Our default Scorecard/dashboard has two gadgets. We want to remove both of those and show a different gadget when you change to another scorecard.

So each scorecard takes a totally different approach to analysis, and not just different metrics?

Another question. Is this across users? E.g., when any user views that scorecard, they should by default see that dashboard, regardless of what default dashboard was linked to that user?

thanks
