Hi,

My user was entering measures today, using the user-entered measures function. Upon keying in -0.71, the actual value showed as 0.0, but the database stored the -0.71 value.

Cheers,

Joey

That issue's been fixed in a 4.2.1 patch. You can get it from CSS.

thanks

Hi Bob,

I was just told that my SE should have installed all the latest patches for 4.2.1 just before I arrived at the client. If that's true, I shouldn't be seeing this bug. I checked the version information under About PMF on the Administration tab:

Version: 4.2 (rev date: 2007-10-19)
Released on: October 15, 2007
Copyright: Copyright 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 Information Builders, Inc.

Does that tell us anything about patches? If not, how can I tell what updates have been applied?

Cheers,

Joey

Okay, I've received clarification from my SE; he upgraded the client from 4.2 to 4.2.1, but didn't apply any patches that have been released since the 4.2.1 service pack. I'm going to change the subject on this thread to resolved.

Cheers,

Joey
