Hi,
I have a request to retrieve a document from a server as PMF content which the user has read access. I can open the doc when I put the address in the IE address bar so I know the address is correct.

Can this be done inside a piece of Content?
I've tried:
file:\\, http://, and \\server\folder\xxx.doc
None of which work. It seems I'm missing something simple (I hope).

Did you try creating a “Content” where the content Type is “Web Site”.

Then in the URL place the location to your document.

http://approot/basedir/mydocument.doc

Alternatively you can create a web page that contains hyperlinks to the documents you want available.
