If I do a full refresh I don't get the error but Add new, replace actual/target produces the error.

Any advise will be appreciated.

Hi Wihan--
We noticed you're looking in the Reporting Server log for help. This log won't give the same amount of debugging support as the interative loader in PMF will, so here's how to do it.

Best way to debug a measure load - and we say 'debug' because you're analyzing your own data structure and how your specific load logic is set up, you're not debugging PMF - is to run it interatively in the measure loader.

First, make sure you have data access. Bring up the measure in the loader, and click Sample Data. Make sure you get a return. If you don't it means your data adapter is not set up right, or your master file and access file in WebFOCUS against that data source need to be changed. Perhaps the database was moved, perhaps the structure of the source data table changed, etc. The problem in this case is lower down in the environment, and PMF gets the data via the environment.

Second, click Load and you should see an error message - it usually is green and red. (No holday jokes please). Right-click it and select View Source in your browser, and have a look at the ending part of the trace. The WebFOCUS error message that's actually causing the load issue will be there. This will help you track down the source of the error. Perhaps there was a subtle change to the format of a field in the source data, so that it comes up OK but it's not in the right format inbound. Or perhaps there is a newly-introduced error because someone changed the field mapping at some point for your measure load.

Good luck.

thanks
