Dear PMF enthusiasts,
I want to modify the options in the Objective right-click menu. Where is this information stored?

Thanks!

I've done more searches.
I found en_multidrills and tested a change but the change was not picked up.

Is this the correct place to make such a change?
Doe this file need to be in ibi/apps to be used by PMF?

Can I hide some of the options depending on the Scorecard Id?

This appears to be important to the users. Too many options/choices.
TIA!

en_multidrills is the language file for the drill captions in English.

You probably want to change that back to the way it was.

The file you're looking for - for PMF Reports that display Objectives - is a_get_drill_down_obj.fex.

If you change the file, make sure to place it in the pmfcustom app folder and make sure that folder is in front of mainstreet in the APP PATH.

This is assuming you're using PMF 5.2.3 as your signature reads.

thanks

Thanks, Bob.

I'll take a look. Yes, 5.2.3.

So on a Strat Map, to change the options on the Objective bubble right-click multi-drill menu, would I also work with a_get_drill_down_obj.fex?

Thanks.

Ah... I see...

The Strategy map is not a WebFOCUS report... it is an SVG mini-app. So the menus are not using WebFOCUS multi-drill; they are done in JavaScript inside the SVG.

They are in two separate locations depending on the browser you're using:

* for IE, the menus are defined in strategy_map.svg
* for all other browsers: the menus are defined in strategy_map_embed.htm

There are also references to the menu items in stratmap.js to handle translating the menus; if you comment objects out in the above files, you'll also need to comment out the translation lines or you'll throw a JS error in strategy_map_embed.htm (see setLanguageText() for where these xlations are set) for non-ie and init_stratmap_js(evt) in stratmap.js for ie.

thanks

ok. Thanks. This is good information.

When I changed the title of 'Operational Reports...' to '***Operational Reports...' this change did not show on the Today page: Strat Map.

I tried in pmfcustom and mainstreet (frowned upon I know, but I created a backup).

I'm missing something.

As with all of PMF, it is language-soft and translated into multiple languages.

The strings are in: /approot/pmflang/en_stratpmap.js.
