If you have PMF and need to create a dashboard for reporting outside the scope of PMF, will doing so have any impact on PMF?

Thank you.

No problem. PMF runs in many portals, and pretty much any content and tabs can be added in any of these portals. Including BID.

Running other WebFOCUS reports from self-service or MR, running other Web content, even from other sites, these are all without issue. In fact PMF allows you to mix and match that content on the same dashboard if you want - by gadgetizing it. There are many FocalPoint posts on this forum about this subject. Have a look at them too.

There's always something to watch out for. So here it is. Make sure any content you add does not interfere with the user's being logged on to MR environment on that machine. We've seen some people use 'creative' solutions that force root page redirection and other tricks, and/or that log the user on to another MR environment on the same server. These aren't good ideas - besides being dangerous from a security POV - they can cause unexpected behavior with a secure app like PMF.

thanks
