When clicking on the new alert button, it opens to box 4 of 4 and half populates the screen. When doing a view source the error message is it can't find owner_id. It also is not pointing to the correct server name. Where is this set?

Thanks.

Hm. It might not be obvious from the symptoms, but the server name being wrong is actually the cause of the other issues.

If the server name is set wrong, the wizard doesn't have access to the user information because it would violate the browser security for apps from two different domains to share data. So it can't get the user ID from the other window.

The answer is make sure what you have set in \ibi\apps\pmfdata\a_hostname.fex is the same as the web server you're running PMF from.

Luckily changing it takes all of 10 seconds in a text editor.

You're also saying Alert Wizard didn't give you an error message that helped you figure this out. We don't like that. We will take a good long look at Alert Wizard's error handling.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Changing it to the proper server name did the trick! And yes, it was easy to correct. Thanks!
