The user guide, Page 147, states that
.
"You can create a new child scorecard by making an exact copy of an existing (parent)
scorecard and the two will be automatically cascaded."
.
What are the steps to make an exact copy of a scorecard?
Thank you, Endre

Hi Endre -

You can do this in a few short steps.

First click the "New..." button under Scorecards on the Author tab.

Select a "Parent Scorecard:" in the drop down that you would like to clone.

Mark the Checkbox of "Cascade Scorecard:". This means you would like to clone the scorecard.

Click "Save" and abracadabra you’ll have the exact copy of the parent scorecard with it cascaded underneath.

Cheers,
Mike

Thnx,
I wasn't sure that once I create a cascading child scorecard, it actually inherits elements from the parent. I thought I only set the relationship between the two scoreacards when setting it to cascading.
Now I see the Description of the Cascade Check box on page 149-150: "The new scorecard inherits the schema of the parent scorecard."

Endre
