Hi!

I'm creating a Master file and am inserting a "Reference to Existing Synonym" Child Table, but only want to pick certain fields from the Child Table. For example, I don't want the "Surrogate Field" and "Natural Key Field" to be available in the list of fields to pick. How do I do that?

Parent Table
Natural Key Field
Field A
Field B

Child Table fields:
Surrogate Field
Natural Key Field
Field A
Field B

thanks!

Welcome to Focal Point! I think you will find it very helpful for your development questions.

If you edit the child table master and check the INTERNAL box on the fields you don't want to display that should do the trick.

Thank you for using Focal Point!
