I use WebFocus 8.2.0.6 to create a new report. I see a style sheet file is in the source code of my report . I am wondering if there is a way to edit it. Below is the two line source code in the report:

ON TABLE SET STYLE *
INCLUDE = IBFS:/EDA/EDASERVE/_EDAHOME/ETC/warm.sty,

I'd appreciate if you know how to modify IBFS:/EDA/EDASERVE/_EDAHOME/ETC/warm.sty to meet format requirements.

As this stylesheet is in EDAHOME, I would not suggest it. EDAHOME is where the core reporting server code is.

Also if you do copy it, and upgrade, it will be replaced.

Can't you create your own and point to that one ?

In app studio if you right mouse click on any content folder where you want to store the style sheet under New / Text Editor / Stylesheet you can create a new one as Waz suggests. Paste the contents of the warm.sty there and make the modifications you need and name it accordingly.

Thank you for using Focal Point!

Chuck and Waz,

Thank you for your advice. I might not make my question in this thread clear.

Actually, I don't know how to open warm.sty file and see/copy its content. In other words, where and how to open/copy warm.sty file.

You can get to the file via a small piece of code.

SET HTMLFORMTYPE = TXT
-HTMLFORM BEGIN
-INCLUDE IBFS:/EDA/EDASERVE/_EDAHOME/ETC/warm.sty
-HTMLFORM END

CD,
The way I access the contents of a style sheet is in AppStudio by clicking the multipage looking icon in the Environments Tree. It will then show all the file types and I can find and open in the text editor the .sty files. If you don't have access to AppStudio, maybe you can do the same thing via the Legacy Home page?

Deb,

I use AppStudio to create/edit reports. I have checked all icons (9 icons) in the Environments Tree. There is no icon show .sty files. Could you please send me some screen shots to show me how you see .sty files. My email is chuanyin.dong@montgomerycountymd.gov.
