Are you really still using WebFOCUS 7.1.3? What database is the encrypted data stored in?

Thank you for using Focal Point!

I found an entry on the techsupport site that says Encryption, and decryption of the data is done by the Oracle Relational Database Manager, and will be transparent to WebFOCUS. If the data is displayed in readable format in native Oracle, it will display correctly in WebFOCUS.. I would assume that to be true of most other databases but don't have any experience.

I also found this entry as well that talks about using 3rd party tools to handle this. https://techsupport.informatio...track/170922042.html
