Hi,

Can somebody tell me the difference between starting a report out of devstudio and starting the same report directly from internet explorer.

I have got the following problem:
C_EAN/A15=PTOA(ARTICLE.ARTICLE.ARCEAN, '(P15)', 'A15');

When starting the report from devstudio the result of the field is:
EANNummer: 8.71469E+12

Starting the same report from internet explorer result in:
EANNummer
***************

Thanks in advance

Assuming the output in each case is excel, I think it is just the way large numbers get displayed. The '***' mean too big to show. Dev Studio is doing the same, but showing it as an exponential form which excel would do. Also it may just be the version of excel, are they the same in both cases? MRE versus Dev Studio versus Report Caster we seem to always be finding little differences.
