Hey Experts,
I am trying to do some analysis on our users who have created content.
I basically want to pull up details that are housed within the File/Folder Properties of the report or procedure and then report a count each month per user to see which users are creating new content.

Has anyone done this before or know which table I can use to create something like this?

The reports from the Reporting Console in the Resource Management section aren't really getting me the detail I need for this analysis.

Any help would be appreciated!
Many Thanks,
Larissa

Larissa,

The main table is "WF_CONTENT_REVS". There is quite some discussion about it. The most productive reports use SQL instead of WebFOCUS, and must join to several tables to retrieve the appropriate data.

This is basic SQL I created some time ago that retrieves almost all the available data:

SELECT
  'WF_CONTENT_REVS' WF_CONTENT_REVS
, T1.*
, 'WF_REPOSOBJ' AS WF_REPOSOBJ
, T2.*
, 'WF_OBJPROPS' AS WF_OBJPROPS
, T3.*
, 'WF_NLSOBJ' AS WF_NLSOBJ
, T4.*
, 'WF_ITEM' AS WF_ITEM
, T5.*
FROM
WF_REPOS.WF_CONTENT_REVS T1
INNER JOIN WF_REPOS.WF_REPOSOBJ T2 ON T1.OBJ_HANDLE = T2.HANDLE
LEFT OUTER JOIN WF_REPOS.WF_OBJPROPS T3 ON T2.HANDLE = T3.OBJ_HANDLE
INNER JOIN WF_REPOS.WF_NLSOBJ T4 ON T2.HANDLE = T4.OBJ_HANDLE AND T2.DEF_LNG = T4.WF_LNG
INNER JOIN WF_REPOS.WF_ITEM T5 ON T2.HANDLE = T5.HANDLE
WHERE
T2.OBJNAME LIKE 'wf_repository_test%'
ORDER BY T2.OBJNAME
;

You may have to slightly alter the code depending on the dbms used for the repository (my code was for Oracle).

I posted the code in this hot topic: Published status in WebFOCUS Repository

This is a Google Search for "WF_CONTENT_REVS" in FocalPoint.

I hope this helps.

Francis

Francis, this helps so much!
I am going to start digging around to see what I can come up with, by using your code first. I would have never found that WF_CONTENT_REVS table on my own Thanks so much for the reply.
