I have recently upgraded the webfocus server and client and when i went to the WebFOCUS Admin Console>configuration>parameter prompting and look at the
ibijavadir____________________[blank]
ibijavacmd____________________java

The old version had a link to the java's and looked like this

ibijavadir___________________/usr/java/jdk1.5.0_07/jre
ibijavacmd___________________ /bin/java -Djava.awt.headless=true

My question is
1)Do i need to link it the where the java is, or do i need to alter it at all.

2) Do i need to download java 1.6 and link it to it

3)what is they used for over all?

Thank you so much!!

These settings have been superseded by the IBI_USE_JSCOM3 setting. At least that's what is being shown when you click on the question mark symbol before the parameter in the admin console.
