Hello,

I could not find an answer on how to change the format of a column using CALC-LOCATION =TOP in a AHTML output. This is the line I have in the style

TYPE=REPORT,CALC-LOCATION =TOP,COLUMN=N21, CALCULATION=SUM, $

the line will create a total at the top as Total Sum 72,591.64.

the detail line of this column is displayed as $47.00 (with dollar sign). I would like to have the $ sign in the Total Sum as Total Sum $72,591.64

Does anyone knows if we can change the format?

The SUM column takes the format of the detail

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM RETAIL_COST
    DEALER_COST/P6CM
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT AHTML

It did not happen in my case.
the detail line has a format of sales/D20.2C ($ sign). The dollar sign come in the detail line but not in the SUM line

Look at Martin's reply and see how his use of formatting differs from your own. Then look at the documentation to see what the differences mean.

It may also be intentional in AHTML format so you need to decide whether to continue to use the format you have or that suggested by Martin.
