We are moving to version 8.0.0.8 from 7.7.03 and have migrated our content into a sandbox area for remediation. There is definitely some tweaking to be done. But there is one issue that I am struggling with. Our reports are all opened in a new window from launch pages that include parameters that are passed into the report. The majority of these report are working well. But I have run across one that opens one of those auto-prompt pages. I have changed the properties on the fex by unchecking the prompt for parameters checkbox. But it still prompts for the additional amper variables. I have recreated the html from scratch and still get the auto-prompt page. Has anyone seen this behavior before?

There was an amper variable in an include file that had not been defaulted.

Thank you.

You could try setting those amper variables as _foc_null.

 -DEFAULT &TROUBLEMAKER = '_FOC_NULL';

I had no similar issues when we migrated from 7.7.0.3 to 8.0.0.7.

You can use DEFAULTH, it will not prompt.

Thanks for your responses. I was hoping we didn't have to change every report to get this to work. Also, some reports work fine as is, but others do not. It doesn't make sense. I don't seem to be able to find what the differences are. I looked at the properties on the .fex and the prompt for parameters is unchecked.
