Does anyone know how to easily add a date to the output file name. For example, the filename might be agntrpt.xls, but we want it to carry the date, such as agntrpt20090826.xls

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks -

Thanks Ginny. That will work well. I don't think I asked the right question originally. What I really need to do is to FTP this report in ReportCaster...any ideas on how I could do that? BTW I am using 7.6.9.

Thanks - John

Go to the advanced search, 3rd tab at the top, and type in ftp Report Caster. There are 3 pages of posts on this topic. You can also look at one of the Report Caster manuals whicy to can find in the doc link in the upper right-hand corner of this page.

If none of those help you, update this post.
