How can I customize the graph dynamically other than GraphEdit set to ON?

Is there anyway I can load data from graph to excel?

Kamesh,

There is no other way to dynamically customize graphs. We do however have a WebFOCUS option called Visual Discovery, which is a graphical tool for interactive analysis. This may better meet your needs.

I am not certain that I understand what you want to do with regard to graph and Excel, but I'll answer the question as best I can.

We do not currently support WebFOCUS output resulting in an Excel graph. If that's what you want, we do not have a way to accomplish that directly. Excel graphs within spreadsheets provide a level of integration that cannot be duplicated using the Excel API. Consequently our customers generally find that HOLDing a TABLE request in EXCEL or EXL2k format and using a macro to create the grph provides the most flexibility.

Hi Larry,
Thanks for your reply. All I wanted is to customize graph similar to GraphEdit customization. The problem with GraphEdit is, it's changing graph in 3 different ways.

1. If you change the Graph Type, automatically graph change.
2. To change Color - you need to select the graph and change this.
3. To add title - need to apply button.

This will be pretty confusing for the user. So, I thought if we have any other easy way to do those that could be great.

About excel, GraphEdit giving an option to save the output to excel. So, I thought of doing that with out GraphEdit and with just an right click.
